Born out of an alternate universe in which jazz is still cool and relevant and it is performed not by cool, detached cats, but weirdo ADD-suffering pranksters, BadBadNotGood’s live sets are like a speed master’s class on creating the world’s greatest mix-tape. The superb musicianship and list of oddball covers (Odd Future, Joy Division, Kanye West, My Bloody Valentine) almost goes unnoticed amongst the dementedly good times.
