Sled Island is thrilled to present Polaris Music Prize Nominee Colin Stetson's Calgary debut! The touring member of Arcade Fire, Bell Orchestre and Bon Iver has performed bass saxophone with artists as diverse as David Byrne, Tom Waits and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. However, it is arguably Stetson's solo compositions that astound more than all else in their smart and fiercely emotional combination of jazz, drone, industrial music and pop. His stunningly physical live performances are as breathtaking to listen to as they must be to perform.
