For over a decade Miles Cooper Seaton’s work has defied genre and discipline, spanning immersive ambient installations, intimate sets in sacred spaces and festival stages from Halifax to Tokyo, as a solo artist and founding member of Akron/Family. The common thread in his work is the raw emotional charge that infuses every performance with incendiary energy, leaving listeners hyper-sensitised to their own feelings and bodies, to each other and to the world around them. Miles will be joining us for the duration the festival. He will be doing an intimate performance at Local 510, a site-inspired engagement at WRECK CITY presents DEMO TAPE (at 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 25) and even a one-of-a-kind yoga workshop at PARKSale on Sunday, June 28 at 11:30 AM.
