Beginning as a solo electronic musician, Ali Muhareb released a couple of EPs and embarked on a number of tours on his own. Recently enlisting the help of Carlos Segovia (of Máscaras) and longtime musical collaborator Denis Rickard, the project has evolved into Mujahedeen, a three-piece rock outfit influenced by everything from NW indie rock to post-hardcore punk, psychedelic cumbia and Ethiopian jazz.
