Mutang, a stay-at-home dad in the suburbs of Montreal, was once the voice of resistance for the Indigenous peoples of Sarawak. This intimate documentary follows him on his first trip home since going into exile in 1992. Despite a lingering arrest warrant, Mutang visits his remote forest home where he finds that elders and family who once stood with him in protest are now welcoming timber companies. This exploration of heritage and community features an original score from musician and composer Olivier Alary (known for his soundtrack work, and collaborations with Björk and other artists).
