With atmospheric acoustics emulating the open air of the desert they’re recorded in, Les Filles de Illighadad, comprised of Fetou Seidi Ghali and Alamnou Akron, are the apotheosis of a lilting, calming breeze. Intermingling fluttering guitarwork and expressive lyricism, the three-piece come together as the horizon between ground and sky.
