Gone Cosmic are a relatively new band that splits the difference between the sounds of its members’ past projects. Vocalist Abbie Thurgood cut her teeth as a solo singer-songwriter and member of blues rock act The Torchettes before joining forces with the psych-rock talents of Devin Purdy and Brett Whittingham (both of Chron Goblin) as well as Marcello Castronuovo (Witchstone). The result is a hefty womp of vocal fury and stoner-friendly groove.
