Bio
When Dinosaur Jr. reunited and returned to Calgary in 2005, no one was expecting much more than a nostalgic pal-fest with a soundtrack provided by our all-time favourite grunge band. Amazingly, we were all blown away (almost literally) by the wail, whine and shred that's hard to fathom coming from guys who were already melting faces while many of us were still in diapers. Now, five years after the initial reunion, with two awesome new albums that keep up Dinosaur Jr.'s trademark noisy mope explosion, guitarist/vocalist J. Mascis, bassist Lou Barlow, and drummer Murph are tearing up Sled Island and showing that dinosaurs are back and as deadly as ever.
