If you haven’t kept up with Catherine Harris-White since she played Sled as half of (now defunct) THEESatisfaction in 2013, you’d best catch up. As SassyBlack, she’s released three albums of R&B suited for a black-lit bedroom on the International Space Station. 2019 LP Ancient Mahogany Gold and 2020 EP iBeBae are particularly good starting points for her mix of funk, soul and electronic grooves.
