Nick Schofield is a Gatineau based musician releasing live electronic music with Backward Music label. His 2021 album Glass Gallery explores new age, ambient and environmental tendencies with a welcoming immediacy. Glass Gallery was created with a vintage Sequential Circuits Prophet-600 synthesizer and is inspired by the light and space of the National Gallery of Canada. In concert, Glass Gallery features the Prophet-600 fully illuminated with displays of sparkling arpeggios and lush harmonic waves. Nick Schofield has previously performed at Places des Arts in Montreal, the Getty Center in Los Angeles, National Sawdust in New York City.
