The moniker of singer-songwriter Juniper Lee (they/them), June Hawthorn shares their dragon tales of existing in liminal realms and of undergoing excruciating changes, grieving through yet basking in cycles of death and rebirth. Lee is of mixed Korean and European descent, having moved to Toronto from Vancouver in 2024. They were previously known under the name of SoyJoy in the Vancouver and pacific northwest underground DIY music scene.
