The spirit of riot grrrl is alive and well in Calgary — and it’s thanks to the kids! Medusas offer melodic punk riffs and punchy vocals influenced by Bikini Kill and Joan Jett, and aim to inspire other youths to stand up for themselves when experiencing adversity. Check out their brattily defiant debut single, “Block Him!”
