The musical persona of Montreal-based JUNO award-winning musician and producer Sam Woywitka, SAMWOY transcends genre distinctions in restless pursuit of sonic excitement. Playing live as a three-piece, their sound is evocative of bands like IDLES and Fontaines D.C., harnessing the dark energy of post-punk, but with roots in grunge, skate punk, hip-hop and electronic music.
